Hancock Duplicated
Anyone is looking for an older finished rope horse to teach someone the ropes, don’t miss out on Jug Head!! Don’t let his name or age fool you; he is as awesome as they come! Jug Head is a 20 year old AQHA registered red roan gelding, standing slightly over 15.1hh and built like a tank. He is a finished head horse and has been to many roping’s such as the college finals, Illinois High School Rodeo association/finals, USTRC roping’s and many jackpots! We have used Jug Head all summer and we believe anyone can ride and rope off of him. He is good with a rope, is good in the box, scores good, has lots of run, pulls and faces great. Jug Head gives what his rider asks of him 100% all of the time. Along with being team roped off of, he has also been trail ridden and will go anywhere you point him! He goes up and down the hills, across logs, crosses water with no problems! We have used Jug Head to push, sort and move cattle with him, ponied other horses off him and used him for riding lessons. Jug Head can sit for months in the pasture or stall and he will ride off the same every time, whether you’re going trail riding or wanting to go rope – absolutely nothing phases him. He stands quietly to be brushed, bathed, clipped, saddled and bridled. In the arena he stands to be mounted, walks, has a cute jog, lopes nice collected circles, takes both of his leads, rides with leg pressure/cues, backs up nicely, has a big stop, and has one hand neck rein. He is quiet and gentle to be around, is easy to catch, good with the other horses, is good for the farrier and veterinarian, stands ground tied, great in a stall or pasture, loads good, hauls good with new horses, is calm in new environments, loves attention and always wants to please his rider!
